Ericsson to provide optical broadband upgrade to Telecom Egypt

Ericsson has been selected by Telecom Egypt to expand its transport network in the Nile delta area. The contract includes the delivery of Marconi MHL 3000 for DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) transport and Marconi OMS 1600 for multi-service aggregation solutions.
