Telephony Magazine Interview with Ciena CEO

Ed Gubbins of Telephony Magazine interviewed Gary Smith the CEO of Ciena after positive quarterly numbers. The main theme of the interview is that the long haul and metro business is coming back in the US and Europe. Also Ciena’s partnerships with other vendors were discussed and Ciena’s new R&D center in India was mentioned.
